The First Baptist Church Council is pleased to announce that the Rev. Dr. David Hinson has agreed to serve as the Interim Pastor with FBC over the coming months of our pastoral transition. David is a resident of Louisville, KY and works through the week as a Retirement Benefits Consultant with the Ministers and Missionaries Benefit Board (MMBB) of American Baptist Churches.
Dr. Hinson has served interim pastorates with several ABCINKY congregations and prior to working with MMBB, and serving in transitional ministry, he was the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Frankfort, KY. In addition to his experience in pastoral ministry, Dr. Hinson has educational degrees from Southern Baptist Seminary (M.Div. and D.Min) and a B.A. from Mercer University. In his spare time, he enjoys going to auctions, playing golf, refinishing antique furniture and being
active with his family.

Pastor David will begin his work with FBC by attending worship on October 30, 2022 and being introduced during the Coffee Fellowship hour.
